Job: Data Engineer / Data Analyst

Location: Norwich (2 days on site)

Salary: £33,000

Our client, a bastion of retail in the East Anglian region are looking to bring a data engineer / data analyst into the technical team to help drive intelligent growth, and utilise data to guide business decisions going forward.

You'll join the business at an interesting time, having recently changed CEO, they have a new lease of life. Having moved IT to a group function also - the team have an exciting roadmap of projects - Data and business intelligence being an area they want to enhance.

As part of a small IT department, you'll take a lead role in driving the tool development, and the utilisation of data.

Core duties include:

- Development of data integrations

- Creating and monitoring data pipelines

- Design and building of reports

- Maintenance of a clean data environment

- Ad-hoc support

The business are keen to hire progressive individuals with a desire to learn and grow within the role. You'll have access to certification and training courses to enhance your skills, and learn whilst 'on the job'. As a result, we'd like to hear from people with backgrounds within this space - however the level of experience of somewhat flexible.

Some of the key skills include:

- Microsoft SQL

- SQL Server Management Studio

- SSRS, SSIS,

- Power BI

Desirable technologies / techniques include:

- Apache Airflow

- CI/CD

- Azure

- Data Warehousing
