A Data Analyst is required to undertake a range of BAU activities, in support of BI solutions, utilising a range of SQL Databases, on prem and Cloud (Azure).
This Data Analyst role is an 18 month fixed term contract that has the potential to extend based in Portsmouth, with the option to work 2 days a week from home.

The role:
To work in close partnership with the BI Team and colleagues across IT and the Business, delivering both internal and external reporting requirements using Microsoft SQL technology
Supporting the Reporting suite which delivers a broad range of outputs on a daily basis
Resolution of assigned Service Desk requests for report amendments and issues, delivered within our agreed SLA's
Troubleshooting and resolving system issues
Transforming information requests into timely, clear and accurate analysis
To work closely with IS & Business teams to ensure the data is precisely specified, understood and consistent; and any integrity issues are identified and resolvedThe successful Data Analyst will have the following experience:
MSSQL Server, SSRS, T-SQL.
Enterprise coding framework standard across multiple technologies in design, development and testing, adhering to development standards and protocols.
Experience of troubleshooting and resolving data quality issues, helping to track and identify root causes and identifying suitable solutions.
Documentation competency.Beneficial experience
Experience as a developer in any of Qlikview/QlikSense/Power BI ecosystems, including dashboarding.
ETL (SSIS) & data modelling experience
MS Power Automate development and administration experienceWith their offices in the Portsmouth area, this is a hybrid role where you can work 2 days a week from home.
