Senior Software Engineer

Up to 60k

Austin Fraser has an interesting opportunity for a .NET Developer to join a leading business in B2B distribution in the UK. They are working with customers such as Costa, British Gas and the AA. This permanent position is well suited to an individual who has previously worked in the distribution industry,worked with mobile applications and has strong experience in .NET, SQL Server and Javascript. In return you will benefit from remote working, flexible hours and an electrical vehicle scheme.

The role:

Design, build, test, implement and maintain software

Working independently and as a team to deliver solutions for internal and external stakeholders.

Working on mobile phone applications, embedded Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) systems and web based administrative tools.

The candidate:

Strong 5+ years of commercial experience working with .NET, C#, SQL Server and Azure.

Proven experience testing

Good understanding of design patterns

Experience working in an Agile environment

Strong experience with TDD

Experience with DDD/Domain modelling is desirable

Background in distribution
