Senior IT Support Engineer - Hull hybrid

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join one of my clients who are in the market for a Senior IT Engineer to join the team. They are looking for someone with a strong 2nd line IT support background. The office is based in Hull so you will need to be based commutable distance from Hull.

Role -

Provide technical support to colleagues in person, via phone, or email.

Troubleshooting hardware and software problems.

Configuring and maintaining desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.

Administering Active Directory, Exchange, and other enterprise systems.

Ensuring the security and integrity of network and systems.

Providing end-user support for applications and systems.

Maintaining inventory of hardware and software.

Assisting with the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures.

Act as a mentor to junior members of the IT team, providing guidance and training as required.

Collaborating with IT team members, staff, and vendors to resolve technical issues.

Mac Desktop Management using JAMF is essential for this roleSkills Required -

5+ years of experience in IT support or related field.

Excellent knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.

Experience with Active Directory, Exchange, and other enterprise systems.
