Second Line Support Engineer (28-33K) Shipley onsite
My client who are a well established software company are looking for a strong 2nd line support analyst to join the team. They are looking for someone with working knowledge of SQL and also some background monitoring and maintaining of a SaaS application and its infrastructure. This is an office based role in Shipley.
Role:
Performing software installations and data imports
Support and administration of the production hosted environments:
Investigating (analysis/diagnosis) and resolving queries seeing through to completion
Performance monitoring and troubleshooting
Planning, implementation, and maintenance of security
Managing data backups
Patching
Data migration and conversion tasks
DNS
Log monitoring
Serve as liaison between client and internal development for all escalated product related issues, including product enhancements, bug resolution and overall product education
Assistance and cover of the 1st line team when required
Assisting with the service delivery process You will need -
At least 2 years previous experience as a Customer Support or Technical Support Analyst providing application support in a second- or third-line capacity
SQL Server experience within a production environment for at least 1 year, with the ability to demonstrate competent ability to create and execute SQL statements and interpret the results
Excellent written and spoken English
Great communication skills are a must
