Principal Product Manager - Data Platform (Contract)

For one of our biggest clients we're seeking a Principal Product Manager with expertise in data to join the team. You'll define and implement the product strategy for our client's data platform, focusing on data ingestion and event-streaming. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you'll shape the long-term strategy, lead product development, and communicate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Define and execute the product strategy for the data platform, driving positive outcomes and growth.

Lead the development and implementation of data ingestion and event-streaming capabilities.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize features, define requirements, and drive product development.

Monitor product performance and make data-driven decisions to optimize outcomes.

Engage with senior stakeholders to gain buy-in and support for the product vision.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data management.

Champion a culture of product excellence and mentor other product managers.

Requirements:

Significant Product Management experience.

Strong technical skills in data ingestion, streaming, and big data technologies.

Familiarity with Kafka, Redshift, Snowflake, and SQL Server.

Expertise in working with data at scale and knowledge of data governance and ethics.

Excellent communication, influencing, and problem-solving abilities.

Proven experience leading cross-functional teams.
