An exciting opportunity has arisen for a number of Installation Engineers to work within a busy and well organised IT Provider on an ongoing contract basis.

The successful applicant will be required to install chip and pin machines across various retail sites, swapping out old equipment and replacing with new.

To be considered for the role, you'll require the following essentials:

Background of working within an IT / Installations type role, either with chip and pin machines, EPOS Systems or other electronic equipment within commercial premises

Good understanding of how to identify and fix basic issues

Great communication skills, to communicate with clients and colleagues alike

Driving Licence (Manual) with a maximum 6 points

This is a fantatic opportunity to join a market leading IT Services Provider to play a pivotal role within the upgrade of their clients EPOS equipment. This role has the potential opportunity to continue onto a further contract, with many contractors eventually attaining a permanent role within the business.

Within this position, you'll also be:

Travelling to clients sites (retail stores) to complete installations

Taking out old Chip & Pin equipment (VX820 PED) and associated cables

Installing new Chip & Pin equipment (P400 PED) and associated cables

Adhering to company policies and procedures

Highly motivated and customer focused

Confident to drive company vechicle

Required to stay overnight in a hotel up to 5 nights per week

As part of this role you will be provided with a van, so a manual driving license is required.

Rate & Working Hours

£124 per day + Overtime at £13.78ph based on an Umbrella Pay + Night Away Allowance

This role will primarily be working between Monday and Friday with Monday - Thursday being onsite and Fridays being a PUDO day (pickup/drop off) although flexibility will be needed and may include an occasional weekend
