As a 2nd Line IT Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of IT systems within the manufacturing environment. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting, managing, installing, and configuring various IT systems while delivering excellent customer service to internal users.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a similar role, possessing in-depth technical knowledge and hands-on experience in supporting IT systems in a manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide efficient and effective 2nd line IT support to internal users within the manufacturing industry

Troubleshoot, install, and configure diverse IT systems

Monitor and maintain server and network operations for optimal performance

Collaborate with external IT service providers to resolve complex issues

Identify and resolve IT issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to operations

Maintain accurate records of IT systems, configurations, and changes

Train and support users on IT systems, fostering a positive user experience

Provide technical advice and guidance to colleagues and stakeholdersRequired Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Windows server and desktop operating systems

Strong knowledge of Active Directory and user management

Familiarity with Exchange or other email systems

Networking experience, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN

Proven troubleshooting skills and ability to diagnose and resolve IT issues
