Job Title: 2nd Line IT Support Engineer (Hybrid Working)

Job Description

I am looking for an experienced 2nd Line IT Support Engineer to join an established construction company in Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity to join an innovative and dynamic organisation and to become part of a great team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing 2nd line IT support, ensuring the smooth running of the IT systems within the organisation. You will be troubleshooting, managing, installing and configuring IT systems, and providing excellent customer service to internal customers.

The successful candidate must have demonstrable experience in a similar role, with excellent technical knowledge and experience in supporting a variety of IT systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide 2nd line IT support to internal customers

- Troubleshoot, install and configure a variety of IT systems

- Monitor and maintain server and network operations

- Liaise with external IT service providers

- Identify and resolve any IT issues

- Maintain accurate records of IT systems

- Train and support users on IT systems

- Provide technical advice and guidance

Technical Skills Required

- Knowledge and experience of Windows server and desktop operating systems

- Knowledge of Active Directory

- Knowledge of Exchange

- Networking experience

- Troubleshooting skills

- Good customer service skills
