We are hiring Junior Software Engineers on behalf of a Cambridge University nanotechnology startup that has just secured a substantial round of funding. This company is comprised of world class engineers and scientists whose aim is to transform the motion sensing market with advanced gyroscopes and accelerometers, which are far more precise than their competitors.

These technologies have various applications in sectors like civil engineering, military, mining, carbon capture and storage, transportation, and many more. The position will involve programming in embedded C++ on microcontrollers, developing a python GUI desktop application and working on an existing Rust application that runs on embedded Linux. 

Required Skills:

Degree in Computer Science or related field

Experience with C++, C, Python or Rust

Experience with software/ hardware interfacing Role: Junior Software Engineer

Salary: £40k - £55k
