Austin Fraser is recruiting on behalf of their client for a Senior Solution Architect. You would be joining a business that has been involved in the financial services industry for over 25 years, offering services such as Financial Advisors, Fund Managers, Insurance Brokers and more.

For this role you'll be working closely with the CTO and the Head of Software and Application Support to develop and maintain a software architecture plan for the business. You will be leading the re-architecture of their software into Azure and will also be required to liaise with other teams in order to ensure the project is completed successfully.

Few Responsibilities:

Define a migration and modernisation strategy, leading the re-architecture of our software.

Keep up to date with the latest developments in software architecture and development, with particular focus on data processing and analytics ('big data'), machine learning and natural language processing and cloud computing.

Ensure metrics associated with architecture improvements are defined captured allowing you to easily demonstrate the success of change.

Liaise with other teams to ensure all parties are aware of the choices made, why they were made and the actions that need to be taken from them.Requirements:

Hands on experience with C#/ .NET.

Experience with SQL.

Cloud experience (preferable Azure but any are acceptable)
