£43,000 - £60,000 (Depending on experience) + 10% bonus + £4,800 Car allowance

Job Description

You will be working for a specialist in providing leading edge consultancy to high-threat clients, as well as delivering a range of security services and products throughout the Private and Public Sector.

The successful candidate will join our growing architecture team, working with internal and external clients to develop and deliver security-focused digital transformation. The candidate will be capable of collaborating with other DevOps specialists, Architects and Product Owners to rapidly implement new services.

Essential Skills:

3+ years proven experience in DevOps role, with a track record of delivering to best practice DevSecOps principles within iterative development cycles.

Expertise in deploying and configuring infrastructure, databases, and applications on Cloud platforms (especially AWS and Azure) and ongoing management of services.

Automation of deployments and configuration using Continuous Integration Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and tools.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks, such as Terraform and Ansible

Experience with container build and deployment systems (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)

Comfortable with development on both Linux and Windows environments.

Coding proficiency, preferably in Linux shell scripting and one other language (e.g., Python)

An individual in this role is also expected to perform automated testing and unit testing.

Experience working in Agile development environments.

Desirable Skills:

System engineering or system security skills.

Experience of building Defensive Cyber or Secure Systems.

Previous experience in a consultancy role.
