We are looking for a talented Web Designer to create amazing user experiences. The ideal candidate should have an eye for clean and artful web design. They should also have superior user interface design skills.
The successful candidate will be able to translate high-level requirements and objectives into interaction flows and assets. They will be able to transform them into beautiful, intuitive, and functional designs.

Roles and Responsibilities
In conjunction with the Head of Marketing, own the design and layout of our websites
Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to communicate interaction and design ideas
Execute all visual design stages from concept to final sign off
Design the website's visual imagery and ensure it's in line with company branding policy
Create Photoshop Design Files for visual layout of web pages and converting designs into HTML and CSS, design graphics, animations and manipulate digital photographs (sometimes in conjunction with 3rd party agency)
Working with Marketing colleagues to hit Performance Marketing targets
Working with outside agencies implement and maintain high quality SEO policies, incorporating them with web content
Work with different content management systems
Proofread and edit content
Collecting and analysing data on website usage to improve performance
Using analytic tools ensure user journey exceeds customer expectations
Prepare monthly report on website performance, including session length, page views and heat maps, interpret and highlight lessons learnt
Responding to reports of technical problems and working with the team to fix them quickly
Liaising with Graphic Designers and Developers to ensure that tasks are completed on time
Register web domain names and organise the hosting of the website
In conjunction with the Head of Marketing meet relevant legal requirements such as accessibility standards, freedom of information and privacy
Create test plans as appropriate
Requirements and skills
Essential
2 years as a Web Designer
Demonstrable success in improving website search engine rankings, CTA's and user experience
Proficient user of Wordpress or Avada and Woocommerce (at least 2 years experience)
Experience in production and interpretation of analytics to improve web performance and customer experience
Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
Up-to-date with the latest Web trends, techniques and technologies
Relevant further education or vocational study
Desirable
Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps
Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator or other visual design and wire-framing tools
Proficiency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript for rapid prototyping
Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
Degree in Design, Digital or Web based topics (other Degrees will be considered)
