The Junior SAP IT Consultant Consultant role:
As Junior SAP Basis Support Consultant, you will undertake learning the SAP Basis role.
Reporting to the UK Technical Support Manager, you will support our SAP Basis customers with the assistance of your assigned mentor and the wider SAP Basis support team.
+ Learning the complexity of SAP Abap systems and SAP Java
+ Learning to administer multiple database architectures, SAP Hana, SQL, Oracle, DB2, SAPDB (MaxDB)
+ Monitoring the Solution Manager Service desk for any incidents assigned to the Basis queue
+ Working all incidents to a satisfactory conclusion and within agreed SLA’s
+ Ensuring that the incident status is correctly set to reflect SLA targets
+ Understanding the specific requirements of customer contracts
+ Learning to apply transports in alignment with customer approvals
+ Maintaining the saprouter licence for maintenance customers who request that support from our Business Solutions
+ Learning the execution and distribution of Early Watch Reports for the maintenance customer base
+ Applying relevant SAP kernel patches as agreed by the customer
+ Cultivating professional relationships with clients
+ Acting as a liaison between customer and SAP to help expedite customer related issues

+ Operating system administration ( Windows , Unix/AIX )
