Business (BI) Intelligence Developer

Our client is looking for an individual with Power BI experience, to join their growing team.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and Cognos reports, with the focus to support the company’s BI needs.

You will also be maintaining existing data and responsible for report distribution and schedules.

Under the supervision of the BI Manager you will:

* Design and develop Power BI dashboards and Cognos reports to support company’s BI needs

* Maintain and update existing Power BI dashboards and Cognos reports

* Manage report distributions, jobs and schedules

* Manage existing data processing and data submissions

* Resolve service requests and incidents raised by Business

* Ensure data accuracy, security, and privacy in BI solutions

* Work across dept. and teams to improve the “as is”

* Work to agreed / prioritised timelines

* Work within regulatory frameworks – General Data Protection Regulation – to protect data

We are looking to receive applications from individuals with the following experience:

* Experience with Power BI

* Knowledge of SQL

* Understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modelling, and data visualization

* Excellent logical thinking and analytical/numeracy skills

* Working with PII and knowledge of GDPR requirements
