About You

You may be in a systems integration role currently and looking to take on a new opportunity or you may be in an IT helpdesk role looking for something more technically challenging and fulfilling.

We are a great team, having built our foundations on 30 years of tech expertise in our market. As such, you will be able to advance your skills within your role and develop as the company grows.

Your duties will include

- Producing and maintaining a test case database

- Defining test suites and regression test suites

- Executing system tests and test suites

- Generating test reports

- Working with Product Support to replicate customer issues for 3rd Line Support activities

- Ensuring technical documentation is maintained throughout the testing process

- Installing and configuring hardware operating systems and applications

- Managing IT systems and solutions

- Testing 3rd party peripherals including display / audio devices / USB peripherals

- Creating and taking ticket ownership with third party vendor support and partners through to resolution

- Ensuring all support and engineering queries are progressed and resolved within SLAs

- Installing, configuring and testing appropriate hardware/software to develop an improve the test network

Interested? You will need:

- Relevant experience in an IT and/or networking related role

- Server experience – ideally both Windows and Linux

- Working knowledge of IT, with previous technical infrastructure support experience in the installation, operation, maintenance and problem-diagnosis of PC workstations

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Possess strong sense of teamwork, integrity, self-motivation, positive attitude, and problem solving

Ideally you will have:

- Knowledge of VDI solutions including VMware

- A good balance between technology and communication skills

- Networking experience, monitoring and analysis – switching, routing, security, firewalls

- CCNA, Active Directory, Citrix, VMware (VCA/VCP) skills and experience

- MacOS and Apple hardware experience

- An IT specific qualification at either degree or Level 3 or 4 apprenticeship, or other relevant IT qualifications and/or certifications

What you can expect from us?

£28,000 - £38,000 per annum, depending on experience

25 days’ holiday (rising to 28 days with service) plus Bank Holidays
