I have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic 2nd Line Service Desk Engineer to join my client, a well-established IT Solutions company, on a permanent basis. The position has arisen due to ongoing growth of the business and they are looking for someone with previous experience in a 1st/2nd line support role.
The role will predominantly involve providing 2nd line technical support via the Service Desk, taking escalations from the 1st Line and resolving issues efficiently within Service Level Agreements (SLAs). The successful applicant should be enthusiastic, proactive and be passionate about delivering excellent customer service to a growing client base.
Other responsibilities include:
Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues.
Monitor systems and infrastructure to ensure that they are working at optimum efficiency.
Software installations and updates.
Complete and update relevant documentation as required.
Occasional travel to customer sites to provide support.
Windows Server technologies (Apply online only))
Azure / Office 365
Networking experience - WAN, LAN etc
Virtualisation (VMware / Hyper-V)
Hardware setup experience
Windows Desktop - 7/10
This is an on-site position based in Warrington so applicants should be within a commutable distance.
