Senitor are working with an IT Solutions Provider based in Oldham, who are looking for a Field IT Support Technician to join their team. The role will involve providing on-site and remote support to clients around Lancashire and West Yorkshire.
We are looking for a proactive and professional individual who is comfortable working in different environments in a timely and efficient manner. This is a varied role and ideal for someone with a broad technical skillset, ideally with at least 3 years' experience and who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
Applicants must have a full UK driving licence and be willing to travel to customer sites located across the Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Huddersfield, Halifax and Dewsbury areas. The role will be based in the field roughly 80% of the time and 20% of the time from the head office in Oldham.
Roles and Responsibilities Include:
Making scheduled site visits and act as an inhouse IT Support Technician for clients
Attend client sites at short notice at multiple locations when issues can't be resolved remotely.
Liaising with the wider IT Support team to ensure a quick and effective resolution for clients' issues.
Ensure all client documentation is updated and accurately recorded.
Supporting clients with a variety of technologies including desktop support, connectivity, telephone systems, infrastructure and 3rdparty applications
Skills / Experience required:
Experience with Windows OS (essential) and Mac OS (desirable)
Networking - LAN & Wireless
Office 365 and applications
Mobile Device Management
Printers & Scanners
Full UK driving licence and own car
