Our Tech client who provide next generation EPOS technology to a huge range of national and international retail customers, are recruiting for an experienced IT Engineer to provide dedicated EPOS & IT support for the company's national customer.
This is a remote / field based role, covering the Northeast of England, so candidates based in Newcastle, Sunderland, or Durham would be well placed.
Key Duties:
Conduct on-site visits to assess and resolve issues relating to EPOS, business systems, networks and back office servers.
Gather photographic evidence and compile reports for the site management, their head office, and the IT service provider.
Recommended by third parties works and obtaining quotes; liaising directly with the customer for authorisation.
Act as an advocate between the franchisee, the main customer brand, the service desk and the IT service provider.
Required Experience:
EPOS or IT experience in a field service capacity.
Excellent technical knowledge of hardware & software.
Excellent Customer Service skills.
High degree of flexibility in terms of hours of work and location.
High level of health, safety, and environmental compliance.
Full clean driving license.
