An eCommerce Solution Architect is needed by my market-leading, household name client.

This position comes about due to a promotion for the incumbent, leaving the need for a Solution Architect with extensive expertise in the world of eCommerce to oversee a large-scale re-platforming (from Drupal to a MACH solution on Commercetools) and building of a full end-to-end customer journey aimed at improving customer ease and experience, increasing sales through cross-selling, upselling and increasing customer commitment / "stickiness".

You will be rewarded with:

- Salary of £70,000 - £96,000pa DOE (potentially negotiable slightly beyond this for the right person)

- 17% annual bonus

- Circa £2,000 profit share

- £5,500 car allowance

- Generous pension contribution: 7% company, 4% you

- Remote working with occasional site visits: mainly remote with some travel to sites across the UK as needed but with all travel / accommodation costs covered

Essential Skillset & Experience

- Solid commercial experience working as a solution architect

- Experience creating repeatable, robust, secure & scalable eCommerce solutions, standards and patterns

- Solid commercial experience building

- Microservices-based, API-first, Cloud-native, and Headless architecture (MACH)

- Producing high-level designs, creating governance frameworks, turning high-level requirements into solutions

- Excellent communication, written & spoken English, Stakeholder Management

Desirable Skillset & Experience

- Application modelling, UML, C4, Archimate

- Azure experience and certifications

- Adobe CRM / Marketo

- Commercetools or other MACH architecture eCommerce solutions

- Forgerock, Algolia

- Vue.js, Typescript, Nuxt

- TOGAF Certification

- Agile / Scrum
