Senitor are working with a reputable company in North Wales who are seeing impressive year-on-year growth and now have over 20 sites in the UK. Due to this growth, they have an immediate requirement for an IT Support Engineer to join their team.
Reporting to the Head of IT, you will join a dedicated support team of 7 others and will be based predominantly on-site in their office, with some hybrid working available after the initial training period / probation.
The role will focus on providing IT systems support to end-users and will also be project-based, with the goal of improving core systems and infrastructure. Other work will include taking a lead in several Office 365-oriented projects to improve business efficiency.
Ideally we are looking for someone with previous experience in an IT support position (1st and 2nd line) with a broad knowledge of IT technologies / applications and with preferably with previous experience in leading or working on IT projects (such as Office 365 migrations).
Other Responsibilities:
Liaise with users and stakeholders to understand their technical issues or queries and to help them to troubleshoot them effectively and efficiently.
Monitor and optimise performance of key systems.
Basic application support for in-house systems (training will be provided)
Office 365 management
Update relevant IT documentation
Occasional travel to other sites
Skills / Experience include:
Previous experience in a relevant IT Support / Application / Project related role.
Experience with Windows Server products
Active Directory
Office 365
Understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Any relevant certifications (e.g. CompTIA A+, Microsoft etc) would be advantageous, but not essential.
