Your expertise will guide our innovative projects from conception to implementation, bridging business needs with cutting-edge solutions.

We are recruiting Senior Business Architects who will be responsible for leading the transformation of parts of DWP. That includes ensuring critical deliverables, such as business capability models, business capabilities and value streams, are developed and implemented

Designing World-Class Products

Our Business Architects help translate strategy into execution.

You'll work closely with our Lead Business Architect to understand and interpret DWP strategy, and the strategic intent in particular areas. You will test the strategic hypotheses using Business Architecture products and methods.

They will use a range of architectural tools and techniques including: value proposition design, business modelling, operating models, value stream designs and capability models.

Skill and experience with these tools is important - but not as important as the qualities of the architects using them.

We are looking for people can understand a problem and like to figure out the root cause.

We want architects who are motivated by understanding the needs of our users and working to deliver value to them.

We need people who can effectively communicate insights, information, decision moments and events, to different audience, and influence key stakeholders.

Your Essential Skills:

Enterprise and Business Architecture: Experience in the creation and maintenance of the target operating model and identifying the impact on operational service.

Relationship Management: Experience Influencing stakeholders and building relationships effective, strategic relationships to facilitate and deliver business outcomes.

You're a good communicator, with the skills to influence others

You have experience of leadership

You the big picture, can create joined-up strategies and anticipate impacts across a large complex organisation.

In return for your skills, we pay £52,412 - £69,736 per annum.
