Are you Head of Development, looking to play an integral role in an international IoT, where you will be recognised expert in your field, with the autonomy to run the R&D development and oversee a specialist team of 12 to 15 engineers and developers?

On offer is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Software Engineer to join an international IoT company, based in Liverpool, you will be responsible for heading up the R&D department with a team of 12 to 15 skilled engineers and developers, you will be responsible for implementing new projects, using all your skills and knowledge to push the existing product as well as come up with new and exciting ones.

Reporting to the CEO, it will be your sole responsibility to ensure the R&D development is "fit-for-purpose". You will assess which tech platforms to use based on cast analysis and research, whilst briefing designers/developers on project requirements, working to budgets and timescales.

This role would suit a Head of Development, with a proven track record of training and mentoring a development team, who can also be "hands-on" when it comes to coding. You will be joining a proactive team who are working in unison to drive this business forward. A likeminded technical manager, with the management style to reflect this work ethic is crucial.

The Role

Manage the R&D Development.

Design new products.

Mentor junior members.

Progression to senior management. The Person

Previously managed web development teams (Teams of 10-20)

Experience working in Finance, or a similar regulated industry

Highly skilled Developer (C#, .NET Core, Microservices)

Knowledge of AI Cloud Technologies

TDD, CI/CD, DevOps
