Good Morning! We are currently recruiting for a Forensic EUD Service Lead to work for Thames Valley Police at various locations.

You must be willing to travel to Kidlington in Oxfordshire and also Langford Locks as well as Southampton. This will be a hybrid role.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE :-

The role of Forensic EUD Service Lead is to ensure the ICT environment remains at the correct level for the accreditation of forensics. Responsible for ensuring the day to day operations for the units remain with the agreed SLA's and availability levels.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Have overall responsibility for the service delivery into the Forensic Investigations Unit (FIU), in line with the agreed Key Performance Indicators, User Experience Agreements and Service Level Agreements.

Design, create and manage the build specification for forensic devices, along with other maintenance tasks like backup's, archives, restores and patching.

Manage the ongoing health of the service including but not limited to capacity, data ingestion requirements for storage, Nexus Scanning and remediation

Troubleshoot and resolve incidents and requests for the FIU ensuring services are delivered in line with the ICT requirements as well as forensic accreditation requirements.

Engage with the project managers for any inflight projects to ensure forensic requirements are met. Work with the architect on the implementation and support of technical solutions.

Work with stakeholders within forensics and representatives in ICT to develop and deliver a roadmap to ensure the forensic accreditation is supported.

Follow the processes and procedures which are put in place with a strong focus on asset management governance.

Manage the lifecycle of any forensic ICT services including hardware and software maintaining a robust knowledge base articles and documentation repository providing regular training to other EUD engineers.ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

Previous experience working in ICT operational delivery.

Proven experience of supporting solutions like Commvault, Windows Builds, Intune, Azure AD, Azure Firewalls, Azure Storage, Azure Virtual Desktop and storage platforms.

Previous experience of implementing technical designs.

Proven experience of identifying and delivering service improvements.

Proven experience of supporting an environment that has audit and accreditation requirements.

Excellent customer experience ethos.
