A job opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join one of the most established organisations in South Wales on an initial two year fixed-term-contract basis. Your new role
Reporting to the Head of Delivery, the Project Manager will manage several key projects, liaising closely with multiple key business stakeholders and partner organisations to deliver projects to time, quality and budget objectives.
You will take responsibility for project definition including creation of relevant project management deliverables, leading the business change activities, and overseeing the delivery of technical change. You will be responsible for leading business change and software projects, working collaboratively across the business to ensure successful transitions from project to service. Furthermore, you will take responsibility for proactively managing risks and issues to ensure delivery excellence, whilst also contributing to the planning and allocation of resources to meet the needs of projects.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the following:
A proven track record of successful project delivery
Experience of delivering Software and Business Change projects to time and budget
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Experience of having contributed to business transformation through successful project management activities
Experience of having contributed to business transformation activity through project management
Budget management and supplier management experience would be an advantageWhat you'll get in return
