Overall purpose of role:

We expect the successful candidate to possess skills of clear understanding of Operating Systems and its underlying agents. You would have knowledge of using Physical or Virtual Windows/RHEL servers of various versions, and be capable to verify and validate post recovery using the Cyber Resiliency framework which is in development. Understanding of development life cycles process and using native scripting is an added advantage to deliver. Responsibilities will include scanning automation utilities, and suggesting optimization opportunities to core engineers etc. The candidate may be asked to dive in to an end-to-end testing of the servers which are recovered evaluating pre/post state.

Key Accountabilities:

Good understanding of Operating Systems - Windows/RedHat Enterprise Linux

Develop Pre/Post test cases for an Product environment to be recovered

Provides Test Management and Testing expertise to Product Engineering

Manage the Product Engineering test process and artefacts.

Coordinate and coach colleagues regarding proper test procedure, review techniques for test basis and validate test case definition.

Liaise with Product Owners, Architects and Engineers to identify and assess new development or configuration tasks with the functions and objects affecting them.

Use defect management to ensure defects are successfully resolved.

Primary point of contact between project team, department and development team, for all test activities

Escalates of all test-relevant topics, participates in conflict resolution in the test environment.

Monitors the project SW release from initiation through to delivery ensuring full interaction with stakeholder on all matters providing status reports as necessary

Timely identifies and escalates environment issues, data gaps and appropriate administration

Ensure that test environments are maintained and remain "Fit for purpose" for the programme of project deliverables

Coordinate testing phases of different products in conjunction with the product owner
