We are building brain-inspired intelligent systems to maximally exploit the functionality and performance of compute devices in markets such as smart devices and inspection.

We are looking for an analytically strong and self-directed Cloud Engineer. You will be part of the Platform Engineering team, which is focused on the development and maintenance of the Machine Learning Platform. Using industry-standard tools like Python, Azure/AWS/GCP (or other cloud platforms), Docker and working with Machine Learning Researchers and Engineers, you will manage machine learning model deployment, streamline the ML pipelines and scale the ML platform to support a growing number of customer engagements. This will involve setting up systems where software, ML experiments and models are tested and reliable.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or others as required.

Implement best practices for cloud security, ensuring data protection and compliance with industry standards.

Collaborate with software development teams to optimise applications for cloud deployment.

Monitor cloud resources for performance and cost efficiency, making necessary adjustments.

Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues and incidents.

Design and implement backup and disaster recovery solutions for cloud resources.

Automate routine tasks using cloud orchestration and automation tools.

Stay updated on cloud trends and emerging technologies, recommending improvements.

Provide support and guidance to internal teams on cloud-related matters.

Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud infrastructure and processes.

Assure best-practices for building, testing, and releasing software.

Improve current model tracking, versioning, monitoring, and management parts.

Work as system administrator to ensure stability and reliability of the ML platform

Identifying infrastructure needs and translating them into action.

If you possess a combination of some of the following skills then LETS TALK!

Experience in cloud development and deployment.

Highly skilled and experienced with cloud services (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP).

Deep understanding of the flow of data - from web API endpoint, to cloud system, and back to front-end of websites.

Experience with containerisation technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes.

Bash and Python programming skills.

Good communication and documentation habits.
