IT Field Support Engineer required for our Derby based client, this site is going through extreme growth so it's an exciting time to join.

Reporting to the Regional IT Support Manager you will be responsible for maintaining the computer systems and networks of the business.

This will include installing and configuring computer systems, diagnosing hardware and software faults, and solving technical and application problems, either over the phone or in person to ensure users get maximum benefit.

Key Responsibilities

Regularly visit sites to engage with users face to face

Install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications.

Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks

Application support and software installation

Support the roll-out of new applications.Essential Skills Required

In depth knowledge and experience of Desktops, Laptops

Experience of Windows 10 and Windows 11

Office365 management and maintenance

Application support and software installs.

Knowledge of servers, Networks LAN/WAN, including cloud hosted solutions

Knowledge of tablet/mobile phone support with both IOS and Android software

Knowledge of MDT (Microsoft Deployment Tools) for building laptops and desktops

Must be prepared to visit any sites across the group for short periods at short notice which may include overnight stays.

Full driving license essentialRole 1 :Covering the Peterborough, Cambridge, Norwich area

Role 2: Northwest area (West of the Peak District)Below Manchester and Liverpool with easy access to North Wales.

Salary 33k - £35k with a £6k car allowance
