Infrastructure Engineer – (Infrastructure, AD, Windows, Active Directory, O365, Exchange, Support, 2nd Line, 3rd Line, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, LAN, WAN, Networking) – Permanent – Stoke on Trent

Charles Simon Associates are currently looking for an Infrastructure Engineer on a permanent basis for our prestigious client based in Stoke on Trent. This is a family run business with an excellent history and an even better future.

Location: Stoke on Trent

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum plus car/car allowance

Skills/Requirements for the Infrastructure Engineer:

* Previous experience within a similar role is vital

* Extensive Active Directory

* Group Policy experience

* O365 and ideally Exchange experience

* Windows Server highly desirable

* Strong Networking support around DNS/DHCP/LAN/WAN

* Ideally a candidate who is used to working in a small IT department where everyone mucks in to get things done

Start date is ASAP for the Infrastructure Engineer

The Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for:

* Troubleshooting End user problems and providing assistance

* Supporting all staff in the use of IT Services and provide MIS support

* Providing a technical input in the use of new or upgraded hardware/software and recommending and leading on their implementation

* Bespoke Application Management and Support

* Workstation management - hardware, software, peripherals and input/output devices

* Network infrastructure asset ownership, maintenance, deployment and assurance

* Platform design, implementation and optimization projects

* Developing strong internal relationships with other teams

* Producing network documentation

* Project planning and delivery.

* Actively work on service improvement plans to drive improvements, cost efficiency and performance.
