SQL DBA – (SQL, SSRS, SSIS, Databases, T-SQL, Excel, API’s, REST, DBA, Support) – Permanent – Stoke on Trent

Charles Simon Associates are currently looking for a SQL DBA on a permanent basis for prestigious client based in Stoke on Trent. This is a family run business with an excellent history and an even better future. As the SQL DBA, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of data systems.

Location: Stoke on Trent

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 Per Annum

Skills/Requirements for the SQL DBA:

* Previous experience within a similar role is vital

* Familiarity of SQL API’s

* Maintaining and supporting the current SQL Database

* SSRS and SSIS are highly desirable

* Strong T-SQL experience

* Extensive MS Excel

Start date is ASAP for the SQL DBA

The SQL DBA will be responsible for:

* Managing and maintaining our SQL Server databases, ensuring optimal performance and reliability

* Performing backups and disaster recovery procedures to ensure data integrity

* Monitor and troubleshoot database performance issues

* Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to design, develop and implement database solutions to support business operations

* Develop and maintain database documentation and procedures

* Continuously improve data quality and accuracy to drive better decision-making
