KEY ACTIVITIES- Collaborates in the development of a Data Modelling centre of excellence
Collaborates in the definition, dissemination and execution of a Data Modelling Framework and architecture
Provides support and advice as to best practices and ways of working to support federated modelling teams in a high pressure environment
Provides Ad-hoc deep-dive support to help remove modelling bottlenecks and accelerate teams' delivery
Drives consistency in data modelling activities (e.g., CDM, LDM, PDM), and integrating metadata
Supports Data Management goals and activities
Establishes close collaboration with architecture and engineering functions
Acts as a Data Evangelist and assists LBG stakeholders at all levels to adopt and adapt the framework KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE- Experience in developing conceptual, logical and physical data models, to support Business requirements
Experience in developing enterprise models for OLTP, Analytics/AI/ML environments
Working knowledge with data modelling tools such as ERStudio/ EA Sparx, Collibra
Experience of metadata modelling, management and tooling
Evidences understanding of a logical model to drive physicalisations and associate the metadata of Gov and Mgt control domains
Experience of implementing physical models for interfaces, data stores and/or cloud-based solutions
Participation and experience of governing data models
Experience of working in Finance and using Reference Data Model e.g., BIAN, ISO20022, FIBO, FSLDM (preferred)
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIE - Create a Data Modelling framework to support the federated Data Model development across the bank
Ensure that the Group Data Model enables the Data Gov and Mgt objectives of LBG
Assist with the adoption of the Data Modelling Framework
Support the adoption of the Group Data Model with all relevant stakeholders
KEY DELIVERABLES - Raising awareness and upskilling stakeholders to improve their data modelling inputs
Providing Data Model Management and metadata integration assistance
Producing materials to support the Group Data Model integration with Business Processes and system delivery
Contributing to LBG's strategic goals of its overall data architecture
