Our customer is a prominent player in the EnergyTech sector, providing innovative SaaS solutions to organisations operating in the energy sector globally.

We are seeking a contract Software Engineer with expertise in both C# and Java to join our customer's dynamic Software Engineering team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and enhance their suite of products, impacting the growth and success of the business. As a remote position, you will have the flexibility to work from anywhere in the UK while contributing to the organisation's goals.

Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse requirements for new features and enhancements.

* Design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions using C# and Java.

* Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, ensuring high-quality deliverables.

* Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues.

* Collaborate with the QA team to ensure proper testing and quality assurance of software products.

* Contribute to the overall software development process, including architecture, design, and documentation.
