Salary: £36,000 - £46,000 depending on skills, knowledge, and experience
Main Location: Endeavour Square - Stratford
We are currently recruiting for an Asset Systems Data Analyst to support the Asset Systems Data Manager for systems and data used to ensure safety, compliance and reliability on the Elizabeth Line.
This Role will include hybrid remote working - office locations will be Endeavour Square Stratford and Plumstead maintenance depot.
You will be involved in the day-to-day management of asset data held within our management system, processing changes to data and the workbank from approved change forms. Maintaining system documentation including our technical specification and asset data dictionary in relation to asset data. Assisting in system and process development to realise further improvements and efficiencies.
Where required you will deputise for the Asset Data Manager and be involved in key decision making on the direction and development of the railways asset data and maintenance work management system.
You will play a key role in helping to ensure safe critical deployment and tactical direction to the maintenance teams (internal and external) for their effective use of our systems.
We are looking for individuals with a desire to further their careers in the Asset Data and Work Bank management sphere of the rail industry.
YOUR KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES WILL INCLUDE-Supporting the maintenance function to ensure they can undertake their duties for the overall safety of line and safety critical asset / systems inspection, compliance, work prioritisation and quality, strategy and tactical deployment requirements.
-Deputise for the Asset Data Manager when and where required to support the business in development and improvements to asset data and asset related processes and management functions
-Work with various parts of the business to identify data and process improvements, capture requirements, assist in developing implementation plans and implementing into our systems
-Performing data analytics and produce visualisations that provide sufficient support and information, ensuring any issues are escalated and resolved as required.
-Assisting with and undertaking audits of asset data to verify data integrity along with developing digital capture forms to fulfil other areas of the businesses audits of data and works.
-Assisting with developing measurement strategies and analytics solutions for monitoring of asset and maintenance performance. When required act as SME in system reports and processes.
-Supporting engineers to identify root cause and trends.
-Coordination of multiple processes required for the collection/update/maintenance of Asset data and information.
-Support the development of power BI reports for the wider business.
-Become SME in our systems, processes and data maters; provide guidance and advice to the wider business. Proactively promote system functionality and data availability to provide efficiency and quality improvements to other parts of the business.
KNOWLEDGE-Understanding of the business structure of and agencies associated with the Rail Industry.
-Proven understanding of best practice approach to data and information management.
-Asset Management Systems (Maximo) or other like systems.
-Asset Breakdown Structures, approaches and best practises.
-Asset Data and work bank Management
SKILLS-Excellent decision-making and analytical skills.
-Ability to deputise for more senior roles when required to support the wider team.
-Ability to formulate and articulate clear visions for the planning and delivery of initiatives and programmes
-Ability to work with project teams.
-Data manipulation/interrogation/management utilising a variety of software tools.
-Maximo experience or other like asset management software
-Able to prioritise competing requirements by use of risk-based assessment.
-Strong IT skills in some or all of (Excel, Power BI, SQL, IBM Maximo, SharePoint)
EXPERIENCE- Experience in the rail or other infrastructure and asset critical industries
- Experience in asset data management
- Experience of producing and developing strategies and business processes
- Experience of work bank management by use of automated systems.
