You'll work in a team that has access to end-to-end business data whilst also working with new technologies and data sources. As part of a functional Business Intelligence team, you will form close relationships with Business Partners, Data Scientists and Data Visualisers to deliver data driven solutions to the business.
Reporting to the NIT BI & R Manager, the candidate will be required to collaborate and coordinate with BI colleagues as well as various business departments, and can demonstrate good communication skills focusing on the ability to translate technical terminology to non-technical users. The individual should demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced but demanding environment and be adaptable to changing prioritised requirements.
Working as part of the BI&R team, general duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Working within the National IT department as a Business Intelligence & Reporting IP liaising with developers, technical teams, and end users
- Managing and prioritising business requests / demands
- Developing and providing data to meet business requirements
- Update and maintenance of knowledge base articles
- Provide 1st and 2nd line support for reports
Over the course of the year you will develop skills in the following:
- SQL Server
- Tableau
- ETL Transformations
- Enterprise Data Lake & Analytics Platforms
- MicroStrategy/Business Objects
