Infrastructure Engineer / 3rd Line Support Engineer - Northampton - Hybrid working

The current vacancy is for an innovative IT solutions organisation, who are looking for an experienced 3rd Line Engineer / Infrastructure Engineer to provide specialist support. Ideally, you will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working in infrastructure related roles and you will have provided 3rd line support with good technical experience of Windows and Linux infrastructures.

Core skills & responsibilities

Delivery of a range of IT projects with modern IT systems including Windows Infrastructure services

Supporting Windows & Linux Servers including Exchange, Active Directory, SQL, VMWare etc

Solid experience of supporting monitoring platforms whilst delivering emerging technologies to suit the business

Good virtualisation experience using HyperV and VMWare

Firewalls, Security scanning & vulnerability patching whilst adhering to ISO 27001 & PCI DSS standards

Knowledge of working with Azure Cloud

Experience of Dell hardware platforms

Server Room Racks and Patching

Advanced technical problem solving & troubleshooting skills

ITIL, MCSA, AZ-900, Prince 2 or equivalent are advantageous
