Key Responsibilities:As an IT Support Officer you will be work within the IT and Digital department alongside a committed and enthusiastic team going through a major delivery project to enhance our mobility operations. Throughout your role you will work with stakeholders across the Force deliver the next generation of our mobile technologies. The scope of the role includes dealing 1-on-1 and 1-on-many with our user base to assist the transition on to the new service. Provide first and second line IT support following ITIL practices for both hardware and software faults. Liaise with IT&Digital colleagues as well as other service providers both public and private sector. Assist in any other areas of the IT & Digital department as required.

- You have knowledge of smartphone technology and functionality, and can use your initiative to setup devices and resolve technical issues, preferably within an enterprise environment.
- You are comfortable working with colleagues and other stakeholders (internally and externally) at all levels of seniority to diagnose and resolve faults.
- You have the ability to accurately capture and document technical problems and resolutions to support the maintenance of a technical knowledge base.
- You can communicate effectively with customers in other departments, colleagues in IT & Digital, and our service providers where necessary.
- Able to work without direct supervision and use initiative to provide an excellent customer experience. You will need to be willing to deal efficiently with high volumes of setups and fixes at peak times.
- You can follow processes to set up, fix and manage returned devices throughout their lifespan.
Knowledge of the following would be desirable but are not essential:
- VMware Workspace One or Airwatch or other MDM/EMM
- Android OS and Android Enterprise
- Samsung devices, Samsung KNOX and Samsung DeX
