Information Systems Services is seeking to appoint an IT Trainer and Support Advisor (Assistive Technologies) with expert knowledge and extensive, proven experience in supporting users with assistive software and technologies.
You will join our small team of digital accessibility assistants dedicated to supporting our academic and support staff to create accessible digital content primarily for teaching and learning. You will design and provide regular training in accessible content creation and use of auditing tools such as Ally, maintain guidance and support materials, provide advice on a range of accessibility-related issues including support for ISS developers and procurement of new software.
You will specialise in providing advice for staff and students using assistive software and be a strong advocate for our disabled community through membership of campus and other networks.

The post is offered on a full-time basis but the role could be considered as part time or a job share for suitable candidates.
