We are looking for a highly motivated Project Manager with proven experience of Project Management activities, who can co-ordinate, communicate and manage all project elements for AHEAD Deployment, primarily Cutover and Hypercare on a 23-month fixed term contract. The successful individual will be responsible for ensuring all cutover and associated project management activities are completed on time and within budget. They will also co-ordinate post Go Live hypercare, safeguarding the deployment with minimal disruption to the operational business, ensuring issues are prioritised accordingly and triaged to the correct resolver team. They will communicate with all stakeholders, both internal and external, and will also support with the handover of systems to business-as-usual activities.
A role in the Cross Deployment Management Office (CDMO) Team is a great opportunity in helping to deliver the project. You'll gain valuable experience working on a global transformation project and form relationships with GB/IE colleagues across all domains and across the ALDI global network of countries.
Reporting into one of the Cross Deployment Management Office Managers. You will need to collaborate and co-ordinate a variety of people with different skills sets at all levels across all Domains. The position requires strong communication skills, stakeholder management, attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced but sometimes ambiguous environment. In addition, the candidate will need to acquire enough technical and operational understanding to be able to act as a sounding board for the leadership team.
Due to the critical nature of the role, supporting cutover and hypercare in regions as part of Go Live, working shift patterns will be required across a number of weeks to ensure all incidents are prioritised and actioned accordingly, ensuring continued business operation.

- Ownership and co-ordination of all hypercare activities including planning and post Go Live
- Provide and present daily / weekly Hypercare status reporting into the relevant project stakeholders, including senior management and project sponsor
- Takes ownership of global cutover migration plans and supports the adaption and inclusion of local requirements
- Assists in the management of all project cutover and data migration activities locally in the country
- Holds Central project management and System Integrators accountable for all the project deliverables
- First point of contact for cutover/hypercare related queries relating to AHEAD deployment
- Proactively resolves and supports the business with any project issues before they become risks
About You- Project Management qualification such as APM
- Experience in delivering large scale projects and proven track record in project management, particularly co-ordinating cutover, hypercare, UAT and release and deployment management
- Stakeholder management experience
- Understanding of SAP
- Previous data migration experience
- Able to work independently, upon your own initiative and at a fast pace
- Is open minded, highly self-motivated and is extremely passionate about service-orientation
- Is flexible and adaptable and who possesses strong change management skills
- Has the ability to build collaborative relationships and influence all around them and at all levels
- Is able to take significant responsibility with a pragmatic, goal-oriented approach
- Is technically minded yet business driven approach
- Has first rate organisational skills and attention to detail
- Has excellent presentation, listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
