OVERVIEW At PlayStation London Studio, we are on a mission to make award-winning, landmark games. We are currently working on an unannounced PlayStation 5 multiplayer game, set in modern fantasy London. This game is close to our hearts, as we've seen this idea grow from a seed with the whole team coming up with the concept from the very beginning. About the Role We are looking for an IT Service Manager to join our studio team. You will partner with our Studio Heads, Studio Leadership and the Operations and Recruitment teams to build, live and promote an excellent work environment. You will be responsible for driving London Studio's IT agenda while partnering and reporting into the wider PlayStation IT group - this role acts as a liaison the two teams while being fully accountable for the IT work at the studio.
You will have access to the latest technology, and work in a development environment where all hardware is pushed to the very limit. This is an exciting role where you are supporting the London Studio team while they work on future games for Sony PlayStation. For this role, you are expected to be in our Central London office, at least 4 times a week.
Scope of Work - You will help drive the IT strategy for the studio including maintaining the IT budget and maximise the IT infrastructure to support our hybrid and development working goals. This will also include working closely with the wider PlayStation Studios IT departments to develop and implement IT strategies that align with the overall goals of the Studio.
- Act as the bridge between London Studio and the wider PlayStation Studios IT teams. Including acting as an initial point of escalation for any outstanding or urgent queries. Adhering to service level agreements (SLAs) and continuously improving IT processes to optimise service delivery.
- Be the point of contact for all Studio IT conversations and take accountability for escalation of IT issues to the wider business.
- Work with specialists in the business to evaluate and recommend new technologies and systems to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Studio.
- You will ensure that all IT services are delivered efficiently and optimally, and that all issues are resolved in a timely manner.
- Responsible for the Joiner, Mover, and Leaver's IT journey at London Studio - including IT onboarding of new staff (ensuring that the optimal tech setup is provided dependent on role, location, and internet speeds) this will include documenting and implementing the process.
- Responsible for remote access support to employees, ensuring secure and reliable connectivity to studio resources. Working with the IT Team in implementing VPN solutions, remote desktop protocols, or other technologies to enable remote work.
- Balance priority requests, ensuring regular communication with customers and key partners.
- Support the roll out of new applications through collaborating with customers and departments.

Desired Knowledge & Skills - Understanding and experience of the gaming industry, or of working in a creative industry is desirable.
- Experience with streaming solutions - remote desktop approaches (such as Parsec) and consumer streaming (such as Twitch).
- Experience in an IT leadership or management role.
