Hays Technology are recruiting an Information Risk & ISO Compliance Lead to join a large public sector organisation on a permanent basis. You will be reporting to the Deputy Director of Corporate and Information.

Your new role

As an Information Risk & ISO Compliance Lead, you will be responsible for defining and embedding best practice information security policies, standards, and processes based on ISO 27001, NIST Cyber Security Framework (CSF), Cyber Essentials Plus, UK HMG Security Policy Framework, and Government Functional Security Standard. You will also be providing expert advice and guidance to both internal and external stakeholder on Data Protection Impact Assessments.

You will also be required to articulate technical impact and risks from a technical knowledge base. Whilst developing and leading training to all NHS Resolution staff on ISO 27001 standards. You will also be reporting on compliance with security and data protection policies, as well as the enforcement of policies.

What you'll need to succeed

Qualification in Data Protection 2018, GDPR and Freedom of Information, whilst having good understanding of info sec standards are essential

A comprehensive understanding of Cyber assessment frameworks and Cyber Essentials

Ability to communication effectively with internal and external stakeholders

Highly developed analytical reasoning, effective decision making skills

Knowledge and understanding of relevant statutory and regulatory environment, international and national standards and best practice in General Data Protection Regulation Terms

What you'll get in return
