The Systems Specialist will serve as an Oracle Techno Functional Specialist, driving the design and development of Planning systems and providing production support.

They will be the go-to person for SCM and planning systems within the organization.

Developing a thorough understanding of the company's business processes and capabilities of R12 Oracle EBS SCM modules will be part of their responsibilities.

The successful candidate will gain expertise in other R12 Oracle modules and expand knowledge of various commercial systems.

They will be responsible for developing innovative solutions aligned with business needs and implementing them in production.

Ownership of finance and procurement systems, ensuring effective resolution of issues, will be part of their role.

The Systems Specialist will provide exceptional support to the user base, identifying improvement opportunities.

Foster strong relationships with Planning, Finance & Commercial teams to drive collaboration and success.

Essential & Desirable Qualifications:

Candidates must have GCSE Maths and English Language Grade C or above.

A degree in an appropriate discipline would be advantageous.Essential Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience in IT.

They must possess Techno-functional expertise in ASCP and/or Demantra.

Proven experience in an Oracle EBS R12 SCM environment, providing solutions and user support, is essential.

Familiarity with at least two of the following modules: Inventory, Order Management, BOM/WIP/OSFM, etc.

Proficiency in SQL / PLSQL, Oracle Custom Reports, Unix is a must.

Being highly PC literate and having strong attention to detail are essential qualities.

Desirable Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

An ITIL foundation qualification would be beneficial.

Knowledge of Demantra tables and table structures, data model, server expression, client expression, series configuration, workflow, designing, and developing methods, is a plus.

Understanding of ASCP/APCC configurations and custom hook development will be an advantage.

Essential Attributes:

The ability to explain complex technical IT issues in a non-technical manner is crucial.

Self-motivation with a positive attitude, ability to work independently, and take initiative are key attributes.

Proactive problem-solving approach, bringing parties together to deliver effective solutions, is essential.

Desirable Attributes:

Openness to travel for business purposes is advantageous.
