Our client is presently seeking an experienced C++ Software Engineer to join their team in the Glasgow office. The ideal candidate will become an integral part of our dynamic software team, focused on developing our suite of integrated analysis tools for building design and retrofitting, known as the Virtual Environment.

Responsibilities

Crafting new products and features.

Enhancing the performance and quality of existing products.

Engaging in code reviews.

Providing valuable input for product documentation.Essential Qualifications:

5+ years of commercial experience in C++ software development.

Microsoft Visual Studio proficiency

Exposure to maintaining and improving legacy products.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to collaborate effectively within a development team with multiple objectives and deadlines.Desirable Skills:

Previous experience in developing scientific and technical software.

Familiarity with building modeling or simulation software.

Knowledge of MFC, STL, or BOOST.

A degree in computing, physics, or a closely related scientific field.
