Project Manager – HR and Payroll implementation - fixed-term 12 month contract. This well-established, ‘Investors in People’ accredited organisation seeks an experienced project manager to work as part of an ongoing transformation programme.
Project Manager – the role:
Working with an established and supportive PMO this exciting opportunity will see you being responsible for the end-to-end implementation of a new HR and Payroll system. This includes the development of the project plan, aligning this to the PM process, managing the various resources and defining the scope of the project, deliverables and criteria for success. Working with various stakeholders and change analysts you will identify requirements and functionality. Further down the line, the role will involve training and support as the legacy system moves to the new product.
Whilst there is a lot of support available and processes/guidelines to follow, there will be a lot of latitude for someone to really ‘own’ the project and have a huge impact.
Project Manager – the person:
The client seeks a highly personable, accredited (e.g. Prince 2 / PMP) project manager with HR and Payroll implementation experience, who can demonstrate strong usage of project management tools, methodologies, working in a PMO environment, managing risk, with strong resource allocation abilities.
Project Manager – location:
Due to high levels of collaboration required, this role is seen mainly as an on-site position.
This is a solid opportunity for an experienced project manager to utilise their full range of skills. The company offers great working conditions. Salary to £53,500. 37.5hr week.
