Job Title: 3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer

An exciting opportunity for a 3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer is required for a leading customer of ours to be based onsite in Blackburn.

You will be the first point of escalation for the 2nd Line Support Team and support the Infrastructure Lead and IT Manager. You must be experienced in MS Azure, Windows Server, Meraki, DELL Powerstore & VMWARE.

The successful candidate will be tasked with providing excellent 3rd Line Infrastructure support on Servers and application services to our client and client's Group of companies. You will also be providing support on our client's business applications & take the lead Infrastructure Projects. Be an example and point of reference for the support team.

Other technical skills that are required as follows:

* Exposure to VMWare to enable you to build and manage a virtual environment

* Excellent Understanding of Networking fundamentals. Ability to do Advance configuration on Switches and routers

* Excellent Understanding of Windows Server (Apply online only) and all Domain Services (AD, GPO, DHCP, DNS)

* Experience of managing Exchange/Office 365

* Good Experience of Meraki Switches, Firewalls and AP. Understanding of SDWAN Solutions

* Good Understanding of Sophos XG and RED Firewalls

* Extensive Exposure to Sophos AV or similar AV products

Location: Blackburn, just of M65

Salary: Up to £45,000 + 3k bonus.
