A passionate Data Analyst is needed to join our consulting team at Butterfly Data based in Manchester on a full-time basis.

Based in Manchester, you will have to work with our existing team in person regularly (at least 2-3 days every week). Selected candidates should be prepared to undergo a standard DBS check and/or UK Security Vetting.

Key Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for managing, cleansing, abstracting and aggregating data, and conducting a range of profiling and visualisation tasks
You will undertake a variety of projects, providing technical data solutions for a broad range of challenges, documenting your results and making evidence-based recommendations
You will develop a good understanding of data structures, database systems and procedures using a range of analytical tools, methods and systems
You will explore different types of structured and unstructured data and use appropriate techniques to avoid and/or resolve data quality issues.

Required Experience:
Fluent English, UK resident of 5 years or more, with the right to work in the UK
A numerate or technical degree, or NVQ Level 4, or relevant experience
Demonstrable programming experience using SQL, SAS, Python, R or similar
Ability to work securely, sometimes remotely, and professionally
Competent with Microsoft/Google Office tools (spreadsheets, presentations, etc.)
Desirable Experience:
Any experience with cloud computing such as AWS or Azure
Awareness of information security standards, policies and procedures
Any real-world commercial and professional experience
