Prestigious opportunity for a Desktop & Server Support Engineer within a leading Law Firm in Manchester city centre! Dedicated to providing 2nd line support you will be involved in both BAU and project based work as required, all within an ITIL environment.
As a member of the 2nd line support team you will be responsible for:-
Troubleshooting desktop, server and application specific issues
Responding to, and effectively resolving escalated user incidents and problems within SLA and KPI timeframes
Design and implementation of automation measures where possible and appropriate
Taking ownership of requests escalated to you and manage them through to resolution
Supporting Windows, Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop, Office 365 and other key systems
End user computing support
Mobile device support
If you possess a combination of some of the following skills then LETS TALK!
Previous Hands-on IT support experience in a professional services environment
Strong customer facing skills
Experience working within SLAs and KPIs
Ability to take ownership of tasks and manage them through to resolution
Windows Server
Cloud knowledge, Azure, O365
Active Directory, AAD user configuration experience
Excellent problem-solving and analysis skills with good attention to detail
Understanding of current leading technologies, suppliers and industry terminology
