Our client is seeking an IT Infrastructure and Security Engineer to join the team in Bristol. Day to day will support; On-premises infrastructure and cloud-based systems (Azure), implementing to identify and mitigate security risks as well as researching, designing, and implementing future IT systems.

Description
The IT Infrastructure and Security Engineer will have a proven track record in managing Active Directory, Corporate-level Firewalls, Security, and General Networking:
Manage SAN and Hyper-V Server clusters which host applications, including AD, web, database, and file servers
Manage Active Directory and Azure AD and assist developers in architecting Azure for future application deployment
Manage the Azure deployments and upgrade of installed applications
Manage Security around AD and Azure, including port forwarding and reverse proxying
Understand products and create appropriate infrastructure documentation to support them.
Maintain SQL Server and monitor performance
Design, deploy, and manage network infrastructure, including switches, firewalls, and access points
Manage backups of systems, databases and shared folders both on-prem and cloud-based
Optimize network performance and reliability
Create, implement, and test Business Continuity Procedures
Review internal systems and AD / Azure security
Configure and maintain firewall rules and policies to ensure network security.
Test for vulnerabilities on all infrastructure
Perform internal penetration testing, organise external testing
Test for XSS on Websites
Manage Service Account Management (permissions and rights)
Manage API Security (OAUTH)
Manage RBAC/PIMProfile
The IT Infrastructure and Security Engineer will showcase:
Extensive Active Directory administration
Server and SAN hardware
LAN hardware (switches/APs)
Corporate level firewall management
Proficient understanding of network protocols, IP addressing, subnetting and routing protocols.Advantageous:
Proven track record of managing Azure and Azure AD
Microsoft SQL Server administration
Relevant Microsoft qualifications
Corporate level firewalls
Wireless APs / Power Automate
Software systems testing
ITIL / ISO27001Job Offer
Annual Salary between £60,000 - £65,000 per year + benefits
Hybrid working, 2 or 3 days split between Bristol office and home
