Salary: £35k to £40k DOE + benefits

Merchr is our new and innovative content monetisation platform that gives brands, influencers, musicians, sportspeople, attractions, charities, schools and more, a unique opportunity to create their own merchandise.

We are looking for an experienced Laravel developer to join our growing team, we have multiple projects and two of these are based on the Laravel framework where most the tasks for this role will be assigned.

You will be working alongside our current backend developers while working closely with the frontend team who use the Vue.js framework for our applications SPA UI. Strong proficiency working with PHP, Laravel and RESTful API’s is a must for this position and experience with Imagick, Inkscape, ElasticSearch and Shopify development would be an advantage.

The successful candidate must be energetic and a motivated self-starter who is proud and passionate about what they do.

Key Requirements:

* PHP 7 and 8

* Laravel framework

* RESTful API’s

* MySQL/MariaDB

* HTML, CSS (SCSS) and JavaScript

* Comfortable using the Linux command line

* Gitlab and Jira

* Experience with code refactoring to improve the codebase’s quality and maintainability

* Good problem-solving abilities

* Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality code
