IT Support Technician
Leicester
Circa £28,000 to £30,000 plus company bonus, 28 days holiday including statutory days, employee discount and death in service benefits.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced IT Support Technician to join a fast-growing online retailer.
As a Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our site, users, and IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities
Providing 1st/2nd line software/hardware support to end-users and management team.
Maintaining our IT infrastructure consisting of PCs, LAN, on-premises servers and Azure cloud environment.
Diagnosing and troubleshooting software/hardware issues to identify root causes.
Documenting support procedures and solutions for future reference.
Helping maintain, implement and continuously improve our IT Controls environment.
Ensuring GDPR compliance by helping administer our data security policy.
Continuously improving your knowledge of our products and staying up-to-date with industry trends.
Our ideal candidate
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Previous experience in IT Support roles or bespoke software support.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and Active Directory.
Basic understanding of Networking (LAN, WAN, DHCP).
Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Experience with Cyber Security, MS Azure and/or Dynamics 365 is desirable but not essential.
Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.30pm
