Job Summary: Head of information Security, (CISO)

They are looking for a dynamic and visionary Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to join their team. The CISO will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the enterprise's security strategy, policies, programs, and standards to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in cyber security, risk management, and leadership, with a proven track record of protecting organizations from cyber threats

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

Develop and execute a comprehensive cyber security strategy aligned with business objectives.

Collaborate with executive leadership to ensure cyber security is integrated into the company's overall strategy.

Cyber security Governance:

Establish and enforce cyber security policies, procedures, and standards

Oversee compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.

Risk Management:

Identify, assess, and mitigate cyber security risks.

Implement effective risk management processes and controls.

Security Operations

Lead incident response and manage security incidents to minimize impact.

Oversee the security operations centre (SOC) and security technologies.

Security Awareness and Training:

Promote a culture of security awareness and education across the organization.

Conduct regular training and awareness programs for employees.

Vendor and Third-Party Risk Management:

Evaluate and manage cyber security risks associated with third-party vendors and partners.

Security Technology Management:

Evaluate, select, and implement cyber security technologies and tools.

Stay current with emerging cyber security trends and threats.

Budget Management:

Develop and manage the cyber security budget effectively.

Team Leadership:

Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing cyber security team.

Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field Computer Science, STEM

Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent.

Proven experience as a CISO or in a senior cyber security leadership role.

Strong knowledge of cyber security principles, practices, and technologies.

Deep understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements.

Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment.

Experience in [Cyber Security, CISO, Head of Security is a plus
